Why I Appreciate Educators
Between working as a teacher's aid in Japan and substituting for high school teachers, I've had over 8 years of experience in the educational field. Seeing how much work teachers put in to educating students every day is both humbling and inspiring. As a writer, I'm in debt to educators for bringing the gifts of literacy to our society. You make it possible for us authors to continue telling stories.
Since I know creating lessons can be hard work, I wanted to offer free supplemental material for educators to use in their classrooms. I've had educational classes at CSU Fullerton and have tried to adapt my activities to the California Common Core Standards. My hope is that I am able to create educational resources of value for teachers and students. |

For School Librarians
As school libraries become media centers, I know that the role of librarians change. If there is anything I can do to make reading and learning easier, please let me know. I have a list of 20 multiple choice comprehension questions for Three Floating Coffins that I can send upon request, as required for certain elementary school reading programs, such as Reading Counts. If you need these or questions for any of my other books, please don't hesitate to let me know. My email is [email protected], or send a request through the contact page. Thanks!
